Home Movies!

This is when Theo woke up for a late night bounce. After 10 minutes of this, he'd worn himself out and was ready to go back to bed. Stinker!

Crawling, Tongues and Ties

So I taught Theo how to stick out his tongue a couple months ago, and now he's doing it all the time to initiate play or to say, "I like you!" Cute, huh.

See the rain outside. He liked it. :)

Theo is almost crawling. Here are some pics of him in position, rocking back and forth ready to make the move!
He's growing up so fast!

Yesterday we enjoyed wandering around the outdoor boutique at Orem's Summer Fest. We rode the Farris Wheel for the first time together! And we also found these dad and son matching ties. So this is Theo's first tie ever.

Aren't my boys handsome?!

Good News!

My brother, Jake, is engaged! He met her at BYU-I and they're planning on an August wedding. CONGRATS!

Bouncy! Bouncy!

My same friend who babysat Theo so I could take my final gave me this bouncer. Am I lucky or what?

I FINALLY finished my online history class! Thanks to a good friend, Lindsay Christensen who babysat Theo for 5 hours, I was able to finish my paper and take the final. I almost didn't take it I was so stressed. See, it's my last class ever, and I have to pass the final to pass the class, and I have to pass the class to graduate. And I was feeling very uncomfortable cause I knew Theo was hungry and needed to nurse! But I faced my fear and took the final. There were 12 possible essay questions that could have been given me, and I'd have to write on two of them. I was so relieved to see that the two given me were the exact ones I was hoping for. Holy Cow. I almost cried. So afterwards, Lindsay picked me up and told me Theo ate almost a whole banana off her fingers as well as half a yogurt. (I told her she could feed him if he got super hungry.) She said, "He ate it like champ!" That was his first food ever, and I didn't get to be there. I'm kind of sad about that... Lindsay said it doesn't count... Well, I'm just glad he was able to have his hunger needs met.

So back to my goals: Wouldn't you know, I can't find the sheet of paper I wrote my goals down on! But I remember most of them anyway, so here I go:
*Note - these aren't in any particular order, except the first one is first priority.

-Graduate from BYU!
By - finishing my online history class (check)
and by finishing my internship (half way done)

-Get back into sewing.
I want to make lots of things, like baby wraps, infant leggings, curtains, a nursing dress, a blanekt, EC pants, etc...

-Become a La Leche League leader.

-Run a 5K with Theo in tow.

-Fully research graduate schools (electrical/nuclear engineering for Peter) that match locations for working at L-3 along with everything about the cities they're in.

-Become a photographer

-Compile a recipe book

-Make a Baby Book for Theo

-Read a book a month
The last one I read was Diaper Free by Ingrid Bauer. Any good book suggestions?

-Respond to Theo's wants and needs better (specifically his elimination needs so that he is diaper free by Christmas. He just went #1 and #2 in his potty!).

-Do my hair three times a week.

-Save for a house!

Good morning. I've been thinking a lot about my goals lately. I've got lots of them, and I've been meaning to write them down. I think writing them down will help solidify them and keep them on my mind. And if others know about them, through the blog, maybe that will be another motivation for me to accomplish them. But Theo just woke up, so I'm going to go play with him and then we'll go on a bike ride, both of which will contribute to my goals of playing outside with Theo everyday and exercising 3X a week. So even though I'm not going to be able to write my goals down today, I'll be working on them. But I will tell you one more goal real quick: Finish my online history class by Thursday. That means finish my paper and take the final. I'll report back within the week.
